Orlando flash design

This is a Flash cube done for a local business. In order to post onto the host site, the requirements are to keep the file size down to 40k or less. It’s not an easy thing to do with so many graphic elements that are requested from time to time. I saved the images from Photoshop as low as I could while trying to keep the image quality up to par. But in the end I had to make adjustments in Flash to lower the jpegs which left some of the images pixelated. But it came in at 40k on the nose.

Hello world!

13 01 2010

There are a lot of areas in media design. I thought it might be a good idea to have a place where I can share and exchange experiences and ideas in the many facets of design. Whether it be in print, online, interactive CD roms, photography, video, or what ever comes next.

I am not a writer, so please give me some slack on my grammar. Finding out that a lot of other designers were not good at spelling was one of my most memorable discoveries upon entering this field in 1996.

I hope you enjoy this blog, find it useful, and feel comfortable contributing to it’s success.

Thank you
